Finish the Race

Systemic racism refers to systems in place that create and maintain racial inequality. Surprisingly, our public education system is one of those systems. Evolution is a cruel and hopeless religion, but there is something even deeper and more sinister at play in our public schools and colleges that is never talked about. Dr. Johnny exhorts parents and students to stand up to science teachers and professors and expose the systemic and insidious racism in their teaching.

Pseudoscience Is Harming Our Children

Over the past few years, I’ve focused heavily on cultural influences affecting children. I’ve been bold in saying that some societal choices are actively harming our kids. One of the most insidious influences comes from what I call pseudoscience. While true science drives discovery and understanding, pseudoscience often sets aside evidence in favor of a hidden agenda. Evolution, as it’s taught in many schools, is a prime example.

Despite being presented as fact, evolution fails as science. It is not observable in real time, it cannot be tested in controlled experiments like gravity, and it requires more faith to accept than belief in creation. When evolution is treated as an unquestionable truth, it carries profound implications for how students view humanity and society.

The Dangerous Roots of Evolution

In discussing evolution, it’s impossible to ignore its historical consequences. Darwin himself linked evolutionary theory to human races, ranking them in a hierarchy of “civilization” and “fitness.” In The Descent of Man, he predicted the eventual extermination of “savage” races by more “civilized” ones. These ideas laid the foundation for what we now recognize as systemic racism and even inspired movements like Social Darwinism in 20th-century Germany.

When students are taught evolution as an unquestionable truth, they may unconsciously internalize the idea that some humans are inherently superior to others. This is particularly troubling in our public education system, which is meant to be a place of learning, not indoctrination.

Standing Up for Truth

Parents, it is essential that we stay vigilant. We need to challenge the content our children are learning and ask hard questions of their educators:

  1. Do you teach Darwinian evolution? Why or why not?

  2. Do you agree with Darwin’s position on races?

  3. Do you believe natural selection is a virtue, and therefore acts of genocide are natural?

  4. Do you teach findings from the Human Genome Project that show there are no races?

These questions are not about promoting creationism—they are about demanding honesty and accountability from those teaching science.

Science, Faith, and Reality

The truth is that the Bible and creation align with real scientific evidence. From the evidence of a worldwide flood to the intricate design of life, the facts support what Scripture has long taught. Teaching children that evolution is the only explanation not only contradicts this truth but also sows hopelessness and confusion about their purpose and value.

The Call to Action

“Finish the Race” is a reminder that we cannot sit back while pseudoscience shapes our children’s worldview. Parents, educators, and communities must engage with schools, ask questions, and help students see the truth: that every human is made in the image of God, equal in value, and designed with purpose.
